An iTunes slogan, photographed from their website, which I hardly ever visit: this time I went there in despair, looking for Towa Tei’s obscure compilation “Arbeit”. Well, iTunes knows no Towa Tei, period.
Whatever – I can’t help feel that it’s all becoming one big bore. “Entertainment” is looking more and more like something between “killing time” and alienation on a loop.
And then this whole idea that the easier it is, the better: there -is- an ideology behind these platforms, and it weaves its way onto our insides via cute, easy “stuff”.
