This is how we archived our visual work at the RCA back in 1988. We’re talking pre-Apple, pre-anything you may consider nowadays (the machine+OS were called “Image Artist”. Ever heard? Exactly.).
The output was pixelated, highly contrasted, awkward, rough, unpredictable, fun!
One scary detail: there was no UNDO function. I loved it, the finality of our decisions made digital illustration very rock n roll.
